The year 2025 is drawing to a close. It has been a year marked by rapid technological change, increasing global uncertainty, and an even greater emphasis on reliable, secure connectivity. It is precisely in times like these that the importance of strong partnerships and trusting cooperation becomes apparent. We would like to express our sincere thanks for this.
For GAS&COM, it was another year full of innovation and growth
Cyber threats are constantly on the rise and are now one of the greatest risks for companies. With the new GAS&COM DDoS Protection Service, we have taken a decisive step toward reliably protecting our customers from such attacks—automatically, efficiently, and without interruptions.
The geopolitical situation has further heightened awareness of data security. Demand for encrypted networks is growing rapidly. We are therefore all the more pleased to be able to offer our end-to-end encrypted DWDM service from this year onwards – for all available bandwidths up to 400 Gbps and also as a straightforward upgrade for existing connections.
Together with our partner ELLO, we have also been able to ensure a fully redundant supply for the Neuchâtel region – another important expansion of our Switzerland-wide infrastructure.
We are also setting new standards internationally: our ultra-fast 400G fiber optic connections are now also available in and to Liechtenstein.
A particular highlight was our anniversary: 10 years of strong fiber optic partnership with ewz – a milestone that shows how sustainable successful cooperation can be in the Swiss telecommunications market.
We also continued to focus on the future with the acquisition of Trigon AG . Together, we are bringing innovative network solutions to the Swiss market and combining our strengths to create new, high-performance connectivity services.
We also held our first Connectivity Summit by GAS&COM with great success: inspiration, exchange, and innovation were at the center of this event, which laid the foundation for a new platform for the Swiss telecommunications industry.
We also actively shaped the future in terms of technology: together with our partner Anapaya, we are bringing SCION technology to Switzerland’s most secure fiber optic infrastructure.
The SCION Day 2025, our involvement in Suissedigital Day, and Data Center Nation 2025 have shown that GAS&COM is a central component of our country’s digital future.
