After ten successful years at the helm of GAS&COM AG, Sergio Milesi will hand over operational leadership to Alex Halbeisen effective July 1, 2026. This transition marks the beginning of a new chapter in the company’s history, one characterized by continuity, innovation, and a clear focus on the future.
During his ten years as CEO, Sergio Milesi has had a decisive influence on GAS&COM’s development. Under his leadership, the company has evolved into an established and innovative provider of connectivity and ICT solutions. The consistent expansion of its Switzerland-wide infrastructure, the development of new business areas, strategic partnerships, and a focus on quality, efficiency, and customer focus have strengthened GAS&COM in the long term.
To ensure a seamless transition, Sergio Milesi will remain with the company as an executive consultant until January 2027. In this role, he will oversee strategic projects and provide advisory support to the Board of Directors and the new CEO.

With Alex Halbeisen, a proven ICT and telecommunications specialist is taking the helm at GAS&COM AG. As a graduate in electrical and telecommunications engineering with an Executive MBA, he brings nearly 30 years of industry experience to the role. His career at Swisscom, Sunrise, and most recently as CEO of Eviden AG has shaped his expertise in digitalization, critical infrastructure, innovation, and corporate development.
